Zookoda. FeedBurners Worst Enemy
Zookoda has an interesting new way to promote your blog and keep your visitors loyal. It’s an email marketing system that sends newsletters to people’s inbox after they’ve registered. You can customize whether they can get daily, weekly, or monthly versions. The best part is it’s Free so you aren’t losing anything if you for some reason decide it’s not for you. There are alternatives to this version of blog newsletters including the ever popular Feedburner which provides an analysis of your subscribers. The problem with Feedburner is it’s not that sophisticated when it comes to delivering your posts.
Zookoda enables you to:
Manage email newsletter subscribers.
Enhance your blog with custom newsletter subscription forms.
Design eye-catching newsletters to match your blog design.
Schedule recurring broadcasts for each day, week or month.
View real-time open, bounce, click and unsubscribe reports.
Access mobile users by emailing blog content in text format.

So Zookoda matches Feedburners analysis of your subscribers and beats it. I found the information to be laid out very nicely and organized in an easy to read manner. The homepage is nicely laid out with Mailing Lists, Reports, Subscription Forms, Broadcasts, Emails, What’s More being what you see first. At first it’s confusing as to what all these things do as they are all new to most people. After experimenting a bit with each one, you will easily find out what it’s all about as the site explains it very well. For example what can you do with Subscription Forms? First you have to name them, create subject lines for the confirmation email, possibly customize that confirmation email and if you really want to be creative you can create your own web page to lead your new subscribers to when they confirm their subscription.
Overall I’d definitely recommend this service to anyone who owns a blog and wants to expand it with a unique twist. It will give you an advantage over websites like ProBlogger as they only use FeedBurner.
